The Lifeguard Instructor course is meant to prepare you to become an instructor who can teach and certify others in the American Red Cross basic-level Lifeguarding courses. The goal is to enable you to deliver the full basic lifeguarding program effectively, not just to run rescue drills, not to certify lifeguards for competitions, and not to manage facility operations.
